Founder & Owner
Samer inherited the tailoring profession from his father, the tailor Jamal Hussein Al-Amouri, who in turn inherited it from his own father, Hussein Hassan Al-Amouri.
Family stories suggest that the tradition of tailoring extends even further back, tracing the family lineage to the great-grandfather (the Moroccan Al-Amouri), who migrated from Morocco to Jerusalem to support Saladin's forces at that time.
The Moroccan grandfather practiced tailoring in Jerusalem and is believed to have inherited the profession from his ancestors who lived in Al-Andalus (now Spain). This deep-rooted experience has made Samer’s expertise in tailoring both profound and unique.
Samer passed on the profession to his children, Saqr Al-Amouri and Maram Al-Amouri. Maram is currently studying fashion design in Italy, while Saqr has chosen to continue practicing the craft directly based on what he learned from his father.
In 2000, Samer established "Samer Jamal Tailoring" in the Tal al-Ali area, marking a new phase in his professional journey. Prior to this, he and his older brother owned their father's tailoring shop, which their father had established in 1951

"Samer On Door" Service
One of the most convenient ways to tailor your clothes online is through the "Samer On Door" service. This service allows you to request a professional tailor to come to your home. Upon arrival, the tailor will take your measurements accurately and listen to your design and fabric preferences. After gathering all the details, the tailor returns to the workshop to start working on your order.
The cost of the "Samer On Door" service is 10 JDs. If you wish to benefit from the expertise of a professional fashion designer, you can request a designer to join the tailor during the visit. This additional service requires extra fees but provides you with specialized design consultations to ensure your design is aligned with the latest fashion trends.
Phone Consultation
If you prefer remote communication, you can simply call us to arrange all the details. You can provide us with your order details and measurements if you already have them, and we will guide you in choosing suitable fabrics and designs.
Visit the Tailoring Shop
For those who prefer in-person interaction, you can visit Samer’s Tailoring directly. Our team will take your measurements and assist you in selecting fabrics and designs. Once all details are finalized, we will manufacture your order and send it to your home as soon as it is ready.

Additionally, we offer a one-year warranty on all clothing we produce, starting from the date of production. During this period, we guarantee quality and durability. You can also request size adjustments within the first 3 days of receiving your clothing to ensure a perfect fit.
